2018 FNB Fall Fun Fest 5K Run/Walk  

August 15, 2018 - The Fairfield National Bank Fall Fun Fest 5K Run/Walk will be held on Thursday, September 13th at 6:00pm.  The entry fee is $15 until September 5th, then $20 thereafter.  Race day registration will also be held at the starting line (Corner of East Court Street and Northeast 4th Street in Fairfield) beginning at 4:30pm.  Entry forms can be picked up at any FNB location or downloaded from www.fnbcommunitybank.com/docs/FNB_5k_EntryForm2018.pdf.  Participants can also register online by visiting https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Fairfield/FNBFallFunFest5K

FNB Receives Illinois Community Service Award

June 29, 2018 - On June 21st at their annual conference in Chicago, the Illinois Bankers Association (IBA) presented FNB with the Illinois Bank Community Service Award.  This award is given annually to recognize banks that give back to their community through public service.  "At FNB, giving back to the community is part of who we are and what we do.  We are honored to have been selected for this award," said Mike Copeland, President & CEO of FNB.  "Community service is not only ingrained in the fabric of our institution, it is also a point of pride for our employees and customers," he added.

Community Appreciation Day

May 13, 2016 - FNB will host a Community Appreciation Day at its Fairfield location on Friday, May 20th from 11am until 1pm.  The community is invited to come by for free lunch served by familiar faces.  FNB is a member FDIC.

FNB Names Rush to Board of Directors

April 19, 2016 - The Fairfield National Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Matthew Rush to its Board of Directors.  Rush replaces long-time member Todd Davis, who resigned due to relocation after serving more than seventeen years as Director.    

“We are excited to welcome Matt Rush to the Board of Directors”, said Mike Copeland, President and CEO of FNB.  “He brings a wealth of knowledge and we look forward to a fresh perspective on the team.”

Rush, an FCHS graduate, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Education/Agricultural Economics from SIU-Carbondale in 2006.  Upon graduation from SIU, Matt returned to Fairfield as the University of Illinois Extension Office’s 4-H Program Coordinator.  In January 2014, he began working full-time on the family farm with his father, forming Rush Farms of Fairfield, LLC.  He is also a sales representative for Dupont Pioneer.

Matthew served on the Illinois Farm Bureau Young Leader Committee from January of 2012 to December of 2015.  In December 2014 he was elected Chairman of the State Young Leader Committee for IFB.  During his tenure as State Chairman, Matthew served as an advisory member to the Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors. 

In addition, he is a member of the Wayne County 4-H Foundation, the Fairfield Memorial Hospital Foundation and FCHS FFA Alumni Association.  He also serves as a volunteer firefighter.  He and his wife Sarah have two children, Jacob and Lucy. They attend the First Baptist Church of Fairfield.

FNB Fall Fun Fest 5K Run/Walk

– The Fairfield National Bank Fall Fun Fest 5K Run/Walk will be held on Thursday, September 17th at 6:00pm. The entry fee is $15 until September 9th, then $20 thereafter. Race day registration will also be held at the starting line (Corner of East Court Street and Northeast 4th Street in Fairfield) beginning at 4:30pm. Entry forms can be picked up at any FNB location, or downloaded from www.fnbcommunitybank.com or facebook.com/fnbcommunitybankpage. As a result of last year’s race, FNB donated $1000 to the Fairfield Fall Fun Fest Committee for continued support of the festival. FNB is a member FDIC.

FNB Hosts Reception to Welcome Financial Advisor John Reynolds

– Fairfield National Bank recently named John Reynolds as Financial Advisor to spearhead the FNB Asset Management division. Reynolds was born and raised in Fairfield, Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Evansville and is a licensed financial professional.

“We are thrilled to have John as a part of our asset management team” said Mike Copeland, President/CEO of Fairfield National Bank. “He is a young man of great integrity and professionalism and we look forward to the outstanding service he will provide to our region.”
